To ease congestion in Prague city centre, a multi-lane orbital mororway is under construction. Situated just to the south of the Czech captilal, contract section R513 includes a 236m-long bridge across the River Vltava.
In terms of the formwork engineering involved, it is one of the most challenging sections of the new orbital motorway.
The two-part bridge deck is characterised by varying geometrics and is being built using the new Doka cantilever forming traveller (CFT).
